Role Overview
The Client Executive plays a key role within the Client Management function. Carrying a small personal target, this role is focused on supporting client retention and growth while developing the fundamentals of account management. Success is driven more by attitude, drive, and willingness to learn than by formal education or prior experience. This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, hardworking, and eager to build a career in client management.
Key Responsibilities
* Promptly deal with client enquiries and work alongside internal teams to resolve or qualify new opportunities
* Work with other Client Manager's/Head ofs to implement client management strategies
* Utilise the latest tooling (e.g. Lusha) to map accounts for further business
* Pass larger/more complicated deals to the Senior Client Manager/Head of to close or give to an external resource (depending on complexity)
* Manage passed over opportunities with regular contact/updates from Client Manager/external resource
Client Management & Portfolio Contribution
* Manage a small portfolio of clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth against a modest target.
* Support senior colleagues with client meetings, renewals, and account planning.
* Build confidence in managing early-stage client conversations and day-to-day interactions.
* Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, working with the wider team to progress them.
* Ensure client needs are captured accurately and communicated across internal teams.
Learning & Development
* Take part in structured training, mentoring, and coaching to build commercial and account management skills.
* Proactively seek feedback and apply learnings to improve performance.
* Develop knowledge of the compliance standards sector to support client conversations.
Collaboration and Team Contribution
* Work closely with Sales Managers and Senior Client Managers to contribute to wider portfolio success.
* Partner with Product, Operations, and Service Delivery teams to understand how client needs are delivered.
* Support Marketing initiatives, following up on campaigns and client engagement activities.
* Maintain accurate CRM records, ensuring visibility of activity and client progress.
* Build resilience and adaptability by handling challenges and setbacks constructively.
* Contribute positively to a collaborative, client-focused team culture.
