About the Role
- To enter or continue in the Immunopathology training program with a view to gain the FRCPA in Immunopathology.
- During training the person will participate in the provision of diagnostic laboratory services in Immunopathology under appropriate supervision.
- Post graduate medical education through teaching, clinico-pathological patient review and personal study.
- Advancement of knowledge through research.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
- Completion of Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) Basic Physician Training (BPT requirements), with eligibility to enrol in RACP/RCPA Advanced Training in Adult or Paediatric Clinical Immunology and Immunopathology.
Essential Requirements
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working With Children Check (DHS)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
