Overview:
We're seeking an
**Events Assistant **to join our growing team on a 6-month fixed term contract
You'll deliver our events program objectives across APAC for Redgate hosted events, webinars and workshops, as well as Redgate's presence at third party events.
Do you have experience in event planning? Do you have experience of events in the B2B space, but want to add more value and learn under a growing team? Redgate is looking for an Events Assistant, who's enthusiastic about supporting the team with multiple events, and who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
You'll be supporting the APAC team on executing the events program, bringing your good communications skills and a can-do attitude. Reporting into the Regional Marketing Manager, and supporting our APAC Campaign Manager, you'll be organizing crew travel and accommodation, liaising with external suppliers, organizing our merchandize and managing the pre and post event marketing activities.

- Experience of managing the B2B event process
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with experience working with sales, events and marketing teams
- Able to hit the ground running and get up to speed quickly and take ownership for multiple events
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with common-sense and a can-do approach
- A proactive team player with good social skills
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organised, with a keen interest in prioritising workload and taking your own initiative
- A problem-solver with the ability to think on your feet, react rapidly to situations, prioritise your workload and implement measures to improve procedures and workflow
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Ability to work across teams and functions to get the right stuff done
- Experienced in using Outlook (overseeing multiple inboxes and calendars), MS Word, Excel, and OneDrive, Zoom, alongside excellent general computer skills.
**What would help?**
- Willing to work flexible hours as needed to deliver the events across APAC and liaise with the UK office when required
- Experience using Salesforce and Marketo would be an advantage
