Positive Behaviour Support Therapist

The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications in an Allied Health background or Behavioral Science, as well as demonstrated experience working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviours. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission, are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Complete indirect and direct assessments including observations and data collection and collate the data for the development of behaviour support plans and functional behavioural assessments.
2. Support NDIS participants with disabilities, their carers, family, and significant others.
3. Provide training and support in interventions and strategies outlined in the behaviour support plans, which may involve fade-out plans for restrictive practices.
