What You Will Do
The Transition Manager drives new and existing APAC Fund Services client BPO transitions and client implementations from discovery through delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage transitions, liaising with BPO teams, fund managers, custodians, and other stakeholder parties.
Ensure all tasks for each initiative are completed on time and communicate progress to relevant teams.
Participate in and design operational processes with clients, fund managers, business consultants, analysts, data migration, and integration teams.
Agree on initiative objectives and effectively scope each project.
Apply standard and best-practice methodologies throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Communicate with stakeholders to clarify desired outcomes.
Ensure adherence to best-practice processes.
Administer allocation of jobs and manage financials.
Manage project personnel to achieve objectives.
Review and analyse scope, submitting progress reports to stakeholders and senior managers.
Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
What You Will Bring
10+ years of financial services and delivery experience (e.g., asset servicing, transfer agency, custody, fund accounting, superannuation, pension funds).
Experience managing transition projects such as client onboardings, exits, fund launches, closures, restructures, and related multi-stream projects.
Polished interpersonal and client-engagement skills with the ability to delegate and provide direction to specialist staff.
Strong experience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Xray), SharePoint, and Microsoft Office suite.
Experience with relevant industry software and tools/service providers – e.g., transfer agency/custodian/FA applications, client reporting tools, digital investor/client portals, payment and reporting systems (SWIFT, Calastone, banking portals), reconciliation tools, mail houses.
