This is a unique opportunity to work in one of NSW’s most diverse and dynamic ICUs, where your advanced clinical skills will directly influence patient outcomes. You'll lead medication management, contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives, and support the development of junior staff, all within a supportive and progressive environment that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth. What You'll Be Doing The provision of specialist clinical Pharmacy services to the nominated clinical specialty area. Dispensary duties as required. Promotion of both safety and quality as key aspects of drug therapy. Participation in quality improvement and professional development, as well as contribution to education and supervision of other staff and students Where You'll Be Working Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, providing services to the local government area of Liverpool City Council as well as district services to residents and visitors in the area. It also provides a range of state-wide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care and brain injury rehabilitation. The Hospital provides a health service of international standing, with 23 operating theatres, capacity for 877 beds, diagnostic and imaging services, emergency and trauma care, maternity, paediatric, cancer care, mental health, ambulatory care, allied health and medical and surgical services from birth to aged care. Liverpool Hospital is currently undergoing a major redevelopment. The $790 million Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct (LHAP) project will provide enhanced facilities and an increased capacity to meet future significant population growth for South Western Sydney. Liverpool Hospital is a principal referral and teaching Hospital of the UNSW Sydney and the Western Sydney University and also welcome students from over 20 universities and colleges. Located in the heart of Liverpool City, the hospital is close to public transport, shopping centres and eateries. View our application guide for information on how to respond to criteria and improve your application. Full Pharmacist registration with AHPRA with no restrictions to the scope of practice. A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a registered pharmacist working in hospital pharmacy AND EITHER: A minimum of 12 months experience working as a clinical pharmacist in in the nominated specialty area (or a similar specialty area) OR Relevant postgraduate qualifications and a minimum of 6 months experience in the nominated specialty area (or a similar specialty area).Describe your experience providing clinical pharmacy services in an intensive care or other high-acuity setting. How have you contributed to improving patient outcomes in this environment?How do you approach collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in critical care?
