Audiology Opportunity in Tasmania
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Audiologist to support and empower clients of all backgrounds in Hobart, Kingston & Huonville locations. As an Audiologist, you will assess auditory problems, provide rehabilitative support, and refer clients to other professionals when needed.
Your Responsibilities
* Assess the auditory problems of non-complex adult clients according to established Australian Hearing practice methods and standards.
* Provide appropriate rehabilitative support including fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, personal amplification devices, accessories, and/or communication strategies as necessary.
* Refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from more senior audiologists where required.
* Participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits.
* Liaise with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) representatives, other allied health & support agencies, and families/carers to ensure best practice and outcomes for each client.
* Undertake marketing/public relations activities in the community as needed.
* Provide excellent customer service, manage client load, and meet revenue targets.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Audiology.
* Full and current membership with Audiology Society of Australia.
* Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards.
* Sound knowledge of Hearing Services Program.
* Exposure to National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme.
* Willingness and flexibility to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work.
* Ability to support business changes to clinical practice, products, and policies.
