We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Administrator to join our Maritime Australia organisation based at our Osborne Naval Shipyard.

**Your new role**:
As the Production Administrator, you will provide administrative assistance in support of the daily, weekly and monthly tasks and work collaboratively with all levels of our Production & & Ship Management teams. Reporting to the Production Project Lead, other key accountabilities include:
- Diary and Inbox Management for Senior Production and Ship Management Team Members
- Travel Coordination for Operations team members
- Account reconciliation and expense management
- Assisting the Production and Ship Management teams with administrative tasks related to their departmental functional responsibilities
- Assist Senior Production and Ship Management team members with coordination of meetings including preparation of agendas, taking minutes, recording actions into the action tracker and distribution of meeting documentation
- Coordination of facilities maintenance requests
- Maintain filing (i.e. general filing, technical procedures documents etc.) and coordinate through the various Production/Manufacturing departments
- Coordination or assisting with event management
- Coordination and assisting with on boarding of new employees, inductions, probation and training
About you
**As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:
- Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and diligently on assigned tasks
- The ability to develop effective working relationships
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrated self-management skills and the ability to work under own initiative
