Nurse Unit Manager (NUM)

About the Role As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day clinical operations of a residential aged care unit, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and team performance.
You will play a key role in:
Leading and mentoring nursing and care staff
Ensuring compliance with aged care quality standards
Driving clinical excellence and continuous improvement
Managing staffing, rosters, and workforce planning

About You
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Previous experience in aged care (essential)
Leadership experience (Clinical Nurse / Acting NUM / Team Leader)
Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
