What you will do:
As a Graduate Finance Analyst, you'll join a group of grads starting together and work alongside teammates in similar roles. In this role, you will:
* Review and manage the delivery of work from our external service provider.
* Prepare and post journal entries.
* Review reconciliations of general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers.
* Review trial balance for accuracy and completeness.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
* Analyse variances and investigate discrepancies.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and other financial reports.
* Draft notes for financial disclosures.
* Support external audit requirements.
* Assist in the preparation of regulatory returns (e.g., APRA, ASIC for Australia).
* Identify opportunities to streamline close processes.
* Support automation initiatives and system enhancements.
* Ensure we maintain up-to-date documentation of process workflows and controls.
