St Vincent's Private Melbourneis a facility of St Vincent's Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries. We are a not for profit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Haematology/Oncology ward at St Vincent's Private Hospital, Fitzroy campus is seeking experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurses to join our vibrant and dynamic team. We have a permanent full time and part time positions available.Our ward sees a variety of Medical and Surgical Haematology/Oncology/Thoracic/Renal patients. We work closely with our day infusion services and there are opportunities for rotations. This includes the expansion of our clinical trials area that will be opening in August. The successful applicant will have relevant experience in some of these specialities and be willing to upskill in those you do not, in order to meet the requirements as provided in the position description. Ongoing education in Chemotherapy, as well as other areas will be provided as needed.

ABOUT YOU

- The individual must demonstrate an ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, display excellent communication skills and be competent and capable in managing acute situations in a rapidly changing clinical environment.

- We are seeking individuals with at least 2 years acute experience-preferably in oncology and haematology.

- General AHPRA Registration.

- Commitment to continued professional development.

- High-level computer literacy.

- Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care.
