The Queensland Public Trustee (QPT) is seeking two skilled and adaptable Principal Business Analysts to lead business analysis activities across multiple high‐priority initiatives and transformation programs.
We Currently Have Two Opportunities
* 1x temporary full‐time up to February 2028
* 1x temporary full‐time up to 31 January 2027
These roles will be working across divisions on organisational change. The QPT currently has multiple projects underway and the Principal Business Analyst roles may be required to work on one or more of these projects.

About You
You are an experienced business analyst with a passion for delivering solutions in complex, multi‐program environments. You excel at turning business challenges into opportunities for improvement and have a strong understanding of business analysis techniques and methodologies.
You'll Excel In This Role If You Bring
* Significant experience in business analysis, including recent experience at a Principal Business Analyst level.
* Advanced knowledge of business analysis techniques, methodologies and tools, aligned with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK).
* Proven experience leading the analysis of large, complex initiatives, including defining current (as‐is) and future (to‐be) states.
* Demonstrated capability developing business cases for change, including options analysis, feasibility assessment, cost estimation and benefits management.
* Experience working within a product delivery model, supporting incremental delivery across multiple releases.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including facilitation of workshops and presentations to senior executives.
* The ability to analyse complex issues, negotiate outcomes and adapt strategies in response to changing priorities.
While not mandatory, IIBA certification (e.g., CCBA, CBAP) and experience in change management initiatives will be highly regarded.
