Solution Development work with subject matter experts, business analysts, iteration managers and testers on the development, enhancements and support of bespoke ICT systems. Working in a team of .NET developers, the System Developer is responsible for designing and coding line of business applications in .NET and TypeScript frameworks. The business applications developed and supported by
Solutions Development are predominately hosted in Azure.
What you will be doing:
• Undertake development and support, including design, coding, testing and remediation of new and existing applications.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of standards, procedures and processes to promote and maintain software quality, conduct quality reviews to ensure standards are adhered to and conduct reviews of supplied specifications.
• Provide accurate work estimates and technical advice relating to systems issues, including the review of estimates developed by other team members.
• Maintain and apply knowledge of system design and development life cycle methodologies, change management and quality management processes.
• Develop, document and review technical specifications, including requirements, design and testing documentation.
• Use strong interpersonal communication to negotiate, establish and maintain networks and working relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders.
