We are a well-established and respected Mackay law firm dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services to our clients. Our team is passionate, professional and committed to excellence. We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Working as part of a small but busy team on a full time basis, you will be responsible for a range of tasks which include:
- Providing administrative and clerical support to lawyers and legal staff;
- Answering and managing telephone calls and emails;
- Prepare and format legal documents and correspondence;
- Manage client files;
- Diary management including scheduling appointments and meetings;
- Liaise with clients, other businesses and government departments;
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times.

About you:

You will ideally possess:

- Previous experience in a legal assistant or administrative role (preferred);
- Accurate touch typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software;
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, manage work priorities & multi-task to meet deadlines;
- Professional demeanor and a commitment to client service;
- Ability to develop positive work relationships with staff and clients and contribute to a positive team culture.

A supportive work environment and training will be provided to the successful candidate upon commencement and throughout their employment. An attractive remuneration package is offered, dependent upon experience.
