The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially minded and well‐connected Executive Officer / General Manager to lead the day‐to‐day operations and delivery of the Chamber.
This is a permanent part‐time leadership role, suited to someone who can take ownership, build momentum, and translate strategy into action.
Working closely with the President and Executive Committee, you will drive membership growth, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and deliver initiatives that position the Chamber as a key connector within the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Grow and retain Chamber membership
* Build and manage strategic partnerships across business, government, education and community
* Deliver initiatives, events and programs that create practical value for members
* Support strong governance, reporting and operational coordination
* Represent the Chamber professionally across the region
* Drive visibility, engagement and overall Chamber performance
What we are looking for
* Experience in business development, stakeholder engagement, membership organisations, chambers, associations, or small organisation leadership
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
* Confidence working with senior stakeholders, committees and board environments
* A hands‐on operator who takes ownership and gets things moving
* Strong communication, organisation and execution capability
