About the Role
We're on the lookout for a reliable and caring Home Care Cleaner to join our dedicated Home Care team. If you take pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments – and enjoy making a difference in people's everyday lives – we'd love to hear from you You will be supporting older South Australians to remain independent in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include:
What You'll Do
* Home Cleaning : Deliver high-quality cleaning services in clients' homes across the community.
* Flexibility : Adapt to a variety of tasks and work under the guidance of both the Hotel Services and Home Care teams.
* Travel : Visit multiple locations across Adelaide including Glynde, Fullarton and Hope Valley, so a reliable vehicle and valid Australian driver's licence are essential.
* Team Support : Occasionally assist with cleaning shifts at our LHG residential care facilities when needed.
What You'll Bring
* At least 1 year of experience in a similar cleaning role with a strong understanding of commercial-style cleaning.
* Pride in delivering quality cleaning tailored to each client's needs while adhering to safety protocols.
* Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
* Clear and respectful communication with clients and colleagues.
* Sound knowledge of cleaning chemicals, their safe use, and the ability to interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Special Requirements
* This is a NDIS risk-assessed role – a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance is required
* Recommended to have current vaccinations in line with government health directives (e.g. COVID-19, influenza)
* Must complete a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process
