Bus transportation is provided to and from West Wyalong at the beginning and end of your shift.This roster is 8/6 and a 12 hour day.We understand that flexible work means something different to everyone and encourage you to have a conversation about the flexible work options available.About the RoleThis is a hands-on, technically rich opportunity for an emerging Geologist who thrives in underground environments and enjoys seeing the direct impact of their work.
Reporting to the Senior Underground Geologist, you'll play a key role in daily mining operations, working with our mining contractors to maintain safe production, while minimising ore loss and dilution.
You'll effectively split your time between underground and office-based tasks, working closely with all mining and technical stakeholders to maintain geological integrity and support mine planning functions.What makes this role stand out:Strong internal succession planning and a high-performing, tight-knit team50/50 gender split and a collaborative, respectful cultureFree accommodation available for DIDO employeesCareer development into senior geology or technical services rolesMix of underground and office-based workAbout YouYou're a qualified Geologist or Geoscientist with experience in underground gold mining, ideally 2–6 years, and ready to take the next step.
You're confident with geological mapping, stope inspections, and validating haulage data.
