Job Summary
Protect high-profile healthcare customers by serving and safeguarding premises, staff, members, and visitors.
Key responsibilities include surveillance, protection, detection of suspicious activity, observation and reporting of incidents, and provision of customer service.
* Monitor for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity
* Conduct foot, bicycle, or vehicle patrols to identify unsafe conditions, blocked entryways, security violations, mechanical problems, and unauthorized individuals
* De-escalate individuals using verbal and physical techniques as needed
* Inspect all security devices and fire control equipment
* Screen members, visitors, and client employees for expedited admittance to the facility
* Respond to emergencies with calm urgency
Requirements
* Experience in dealing with customers, troubleshooting, and managing stressful situations
* Age 18+ for unarmed roles; age 21+ for armed roles
* High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
* Background investigation required
