Job Description
A key role within our organization is to oversee and champion all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) across our operations.
The HSE Advisor will work closely with frontline teams and management to:
* Develop and implement policies and safe work procedures that meet or exceed industry standards.
* Conduct site-based safety engagements including risk assessments, JSAs, audits, and take 5s to identify potential hazards and prevent incidents.
* Lead incident investigations and identify opportunities for improvement in HSE practices.
* Coordinate injury management and return-to-work programs to support employees and minimize downtime.
* Drive continuous improvement and cultural change in HSE practices through data analysis and reporting.
* Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards and maintain accurate documentation and data in line with company requirements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualifications in a related field such as Health, Safety, and Environment or a similar discipline.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, engineering, or a similar field.
* Strong working knowledge of HSEQ systems and certification.
* A collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement and cultural change.
* Qualifications and practical experience in return-to-work coordination and workers' compensation.
