Finance Manager - East Coast Car Rentals - Southport Office
East Coast Car Rentals are a hugely successful company with 14 busy locations through Australia. We are one of the largest independent car rental retailers in Australia. Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), oversee the financial health and stability of the company and work closely with the CFO and key stakeholders to drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
* Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
* Analyse financial data, trends, and performance indicators, providing actionable insights to the CFO and Executive team.
* Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, focusing on key performance metrics.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
* Monitor and analyse revenue streams, including rental income, ancillary services, and fleet utilisation, to optimise profitability.
* Implement strategies to minimise costs, such as fleet maintenance, fuel expenses, and procurement.
* Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree and/or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.
* Proven experience as a Finance Accountant or in a similar financial management role.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
* Proficient in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques, with an understanding of key industry metrics (e.g., utilisation rates, revenue per vehicle, average rental duration).
* Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
* Advanced proficiency in financial software systems and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
* Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Location
The role will be situated in our Corporate Head Office in Southport, Gold Coast, QLD.
