**Job Opportunity: Senior Manager Freight Strategy and Planning**
This role is a once in a career opportunity to play a key part in shaping the future of transportation. As a Senior Manager Freight Strategy and Planning, you will manage and coordinate regulatory and pricing accountabilities for Transport Asset Management (TAM). This includes developing appropriate frameworks, governance, and assurance activities.
You will work closely with other divisions in TAM, as well as interfacing with government bodies on regulatory matters. In this role, you will:
* Establish pricing methodologies, set prices, and manage commercial arrangements for public and third-party rail operators.
* Manage and coordinate all of TAM's economic regulatory and pricing accountabilities.
* Oversee the management of rail access administration and contract management consistent with requirements.
This includes managing customer relations, negotiating new access agreements and renewals, and dispute resolution. You will also lead annual compliance reporting to government bodies, coordinating data gathering, drafting, preparing, and obtaining approval of submissions.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Demonstrated senior economic commercial experience in a regulated asset delivery environment.
* Expert knowledge of regulatory frameworks in large and complex commercial organizations.
* Demonstrated infrastructure pricing experience in regulated environments.
* Demonstrated experience in commercial negotiations.
