We are partnering with a progressive inner-west Melbourne council delivering a $200M+ capital works program. This role is ideal for an experienced Civil Project Manager with a strong background in large-scale sewer infrastructure projects, with road projects to follow mid-year.
The Role
You will lead the delivery of major sewer construction works as part of a large capital program, managing projects from planning through to completion. The role requires strong on-site leadership, contractor management, and public-sector delivery experience.
Site Presence
2 days per week on site at 7am (rostered) for the next 2 monthsRemaining days standard business hours
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end delivery of major sewer infrastructure projects ($40M–$200M)On-site management of contractors, consultants, safety, quality, and programSuperintendent’s Representative dutiesProcurement, tendering, contract administration, and reportingGovernance, change control, and stakeholder management
About You
Proven experience managing large sewer construction projects in AustraliaBackground across local government, water authorities, consultancies, or Tier contractorsStrong on-site delivery and contractor management experienceExperience delivering major civil, road, and/or building projectsTertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or Project ManagementWhite Card and Victorian Driver’s Licence
