Family Therapy Specialist Position
We are seeking an experienced Family Therapy Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or abuse.
About the Role:
* The successful candidate will support thorough assessments and implement tailored interventions directly to children, catering to individual needs.
* They will also support reunification plans based on evidence-informed models.
* Providing psychoeducation to carers and stakeholders is a key aspect of this role.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity, with potential for some travel between office locations as needed. Salary range is negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting thorough psycho-social assessments.
* Implementing tailored evidence-informed interventions directly to children to cater to individual needs.
* Supporting reunification plans based on evidence-informed models.
* Providing psychoeducation to carers and stakeholders.

Requirements:
* A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (allied health, social work, human services).
* At least three (3) years' experience working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or have experienced abuse and neglect, or more than five (5) years' experience working in similar roles.
* Demonstrated specialist skills in at least one of the following areas: trauma, attachment, social-emotional development, drug and alcohol, mental health, family and domestic violence, child development and disabilities.
