The Opportunity: We are now recruiting for experienced Registered Cath Lab Nurses to join our team at Strathfield Private Hospital. This is an opportunity to hone your clinical skills with us in this highly rewarding role. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Responsibilities
* Perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Skills and Experience
* Relevant registration with AHRPA as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum 12 months cardiac Cath lab experience; vascular theatre nurses also welcome to apply
* Interventional Cardiology procedural skills such as PCI and Structural Heart procedures
* Proven Cardiac Rhythm Management procedural and recovery skills
* Invasive monitoring including recognition of arterial and right heart pressures/waveforms, and Balloon Pump management
* Experience with sheath management pre/peri/post removal
* Experience in Cardiac nursing and/or Critical care; Advanced Life Support desirable
* Flexibility in work hours
Remuneration
On offer is base hourly rate of $37.75 - $53.02 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8)

Requirements
* Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
* Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
