You will work across a diverse portfolio - from national government and NFP campaigns to consumer brands like Lipton or CommBank - delivering high impact communications for clients who align with our values.
We're also looking for someone who has an appetite to be an active part of our growth in Sydney; contributing to proactive relationship development and sharing the thrill of new business pitches.
Responsibilities Master the PESO Model: You won't just write a press release. You will architect a strategy that starts with a powerful Earned story, is amplified by Paid spend, fostered through Shared social communities, and anchored on Owned digital platforms.
* Digital Nous: You understand the new media landscape. You know how to leverage influencers, navigate the latest algorithm shifts on TikTok/Meta, and use digital storytelling to bypass traditional gatekeepers.
* The Earned Edge: You still love the thrill of the pitch. You have a strong media network and the creative spark to turn a campaign message into a headline-grabbing narrative.
* Strategic Counsel: Act as a senior advisor to clients. Help to navigate through the earned space, keep up to date with industry developments and help to identify and mitigate risk.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with our in-house creative, production, tech and multicultural teams to ensure campaigns are inclusive and accessible to all Australians.
We are looking for the right person, not the easiest fit. This should give you an idea of what we're looking for, but don't be put off if there's a box or two you don't tick!
* Experience: 5-8+ years in a PR or Integrated Agency environment. You've managed complex portfolios in the corporate, consumer lifestyle, government or NFP space.
* The Hybrid Skillset: You can discuss CPMs and social sentiment data in one meeting, and media angles for The Age or ABC in the next.
* Values Driven: You want your work to matter. You are excited by our Positive Change mission and want to use your powers for good.
* New Media Native: You are curious about AI, new social platforms, and how digital-first audiences consume information.
