Our organisation is seeking a skilled and motivated Governance Support Officer to join our team.
This role involves managing information access requests under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 and other relevant legislation.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer service, supporting governance processes, and ensuring accurate record keeping within a busy office environment.
Your work will contribute directly to transparency and the efficient delivery of our services.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting with formal and informal information access requests.
* Process applications efficiently in line with our policies and legislative requirements.
* Provide advice and support on GIPA and governance matters to staff and the public.
* Assist in preparing, administering, and publishing business papers, minutes, and associated documents.
* Provide minute-taking services at meetings when required.
* Prepare reports and administrative correspondence.
* Provide training to staff on information access and administrative procedures.
