Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
This role involves designing and maintaining secure, scalable, and efficient AWS cloud infrastructure. You will play a key part in ensuring the alignment of our cloud systems with government frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPCs).
* Implement and enforce cloud security policies aligned with ISM controls.
* Conduct regular security reviews and audits.
* Provide technical support to internal teams.
* Monitor and optimise cloud environments for high availability.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience designing and maintaining AWS cloud environments.
* Strong understanding of Government security and operational frameworks.
* Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
* Deep knowledge of DevOps and cloud architecture best practices.
* Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and orchestration tools.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, IAM, DevSecOps, and scripting.
* Exposure to Microsoft DevOps, Jenkins, Git, and ELK stack.
Desirable Skills
* AWS AI tools experience.
* Azure cloud services exposure.
* AWS Certifications.
* Scripting skills.
* Cloud migration project experience.
* Agile delivery team experience.
