Maintenance Planning Expert
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused maintenance professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and planning short to medium-term maintenance activities for all mobile plant and equipment on site.
This role is ideal for individuals with a strong technical foundation and a proactive approach to planning. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively across teams to drive operational efficiency and contribute to site performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Scheduling and Planning: Produce, review, and maintain rolling monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance plans for mobile plant and equipment.
* Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate defect and breakdown repairs with scheduled maintenance activities, providing weekly updates on progress and alignment.
* Predictive Maintenance: Utilise predictive maintenance processes to initiate re-work requests and organise additional maintenance requirements.
* Equipment Management: Ensure all required materials, parts, personnel, tools, permits, and equipment are available for timely execution of maintenance plans.
* Compliance: Review and audit mechanical repairs and services to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Requirements:
* Technical Knowledge: A Mechanical Trade Certificate or a relevant Engineering qualification, with solid background in mobile plant maintenance and OEM specifications.
* Experience: At least 5 years' experience in a maintenance planning role, preferably within mining or heavy industry.
* Skills: Proficiency in mining scheduling systems and financial planning tools, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Other: A valid Australian driver's licence, commitment to safety and compliance, and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
