Scaffolding Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced scaffolder to join our construction team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across the nation, providing variety and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Erect and position scaffolding sections.
* Install guard rails, ropes, and planks to form scaffolding sections.
* Fit bolting tubes, support braces, and components to form bases and build up scaffolding.
* Erect and attach tackles and pulleys to overhead structures.
* Install cables and counterweights to overhead structures.
* Update scaffolding register.
* Assist with attaching slings and hoist equipment to objects to be moved.
* Set up and operate rigging equipment.
* Perform general duties as required.
About You:
* Hold a current high risk work licence - scaffold advanced & ewp.
* Have a current working safely at heights certificate within 2 years.
* Hold a confined space certificate within 2 years (desirable).
* Have previous construction experience.
* Be able to complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
