Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Beauty Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in delivering a wide range of modern beauty treatments with a commitment to excellence in client care, hygiene, and salon standards. This role requires both technical proficiency and a client-focused approach to support the success and reputation of our salon.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Beauty Services. Perform high-quality beauty treatments including: o Threading o Brow & Lash Tinting o Henna Application o Eyelash Perming o Eyelash Extensions o Brow Lamination o Facial Treatments o Body Waxing o
General and Corrective Make-up
* Consult with clients to analyse skin types and recommend suitable treatments.
* Stay updated with modern beauty trends and techniques.
2. Client Experience
* Deliver exceptional customer service to every client.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Maintain accurate client records and treatment history.
* Maintain a welcoming, professional, and hygienic environment.
* Collect and respond to client feedback to continuously improve service quality.
3. Retail & Product Knowledge
* Promote and sell skincare and beauty products confidently.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all retail offerings.
* Provide guidance and product recommendations tailored to client needs.
4. Health, Hygiene & Safety
* Adhere to all hygiene, sanitization, and health and safety procedures.
* Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are cleaned and sterilized regularly.
* Use and collect client consent/disclaimer forms when necessary.
* Complete client disclaimers and provide aftercare advice where required.
5. Operational Support
* Assist with client bookings, appointment scheduling, and reception duties.
* Monitor stock levels and report replenishment needs.
* Participate in local marketing promotions and in-salon events as needed.
* Support the team to ensure smooth day-to-day salon operations.
* Handle basic cash or EFT transactions if needed.
Key Requirements:
* 1 year + Proven experience in a beauty therapist role.
* Proficiency in all listed services and current beauty trends.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Salary $70,000 – $75,000 per year
