Job Title:

Village Public Area's Attendant


Role Overview:

As a Village Public Area's Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the Colleague Village and Hayman Schools.


Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain cleanliness and follow scope and cleaning procedures at the Hayman Island State School and The Hayman Island Hospitality School.
* Perform daily cleans of the schools and scheduled deep cleans.
* Maintain cleanliness of Colleague Village public use spaces including reception, public toilets, public communal Areas, colleague gym and laundry.
* Maintain cleanliness of out door Food and Beverage Service areas, including the Diner, communal BBQ area, Bar and smoking areas.
* Maintain cleanliness of accommodation pathways and grounds, their environs and surrounding areas, ensuring all areas are kept free of litter.
* Adhere to policies for guidelines on presentation, grooming and punctuality
* Assist the Housekeeping team in any other Ad Hoc duties where required.


Requirements:

* Friendly persona and good communication skills
* Ability to frequently walk for long periods of time (including up and down stairs)
* Ability to frequently stand for long periods of time (remaining on one's feet in an upright position without moving about)
* Ability to frequent bend, squat, kneel and stoop
* Ability to frequent lift and carry loads of awkward sizes up to and greater than 15kg
* Ability to frequent push and pull loads (trolleys over 50kg)
* Ability to undertake frequent repetitive movements of the hands or arms
