As a Consultant Psychiatrist – Gender Clinic, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional mental health services to patients within the gender diverse community. This pivotal role involves providing specialised psychiatric assessment and treatment for gender diverse patients. You'll work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing clinical expertise to treatment planning, hormone readiness assessments and ongoing mental health support. The position offers variety through consultation liaison work, community engagement and potential involvement in service development initiatives. To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award. The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.
