HealthX Personal Care Attendant (PCA) - Orange, NSW 2800
HealthX is seeking 3 Personal Care Attendants (PCA's) to work in an aged care facility in Orange NSW 2800.
Hourly rate of between $31 - $35 plus shift allowances and super - paid in accordance to the Aged Care Award.
You will already know that working in Aged Care is your passion and have a commitment to making a difference. You will take pride in delivering an exceptional service, with a focus on person-centred care.
Duties include:
* To provide resident care programs to meet the individual needs of the residents
* To implement the Philosophy, Objectives and Policies of the Organisation
* To comply with all Confidentiality and Privacy Agreements entered into.
* Communicating to the RN/Team leader any changes observed in residents.
* Provide appropriate care to residents
* Ensure residents have the opportunity to make informed choices and decisions regarding their care programs.
* Foster good working relationships with everyone on the team.
* A commitment to delivering quality care.
What we're looking for
* Experience working in aged care is highly desirable but not essential
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Empathy and an emphasis of treating others with dignity and respect
* Reliability and punctuality
* Flexibility to work on a rotating roster across all shifts (day, afternoon, nights) 38 hours per week/76 hours per fortnight.
