We are seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to join our team based in North Perth, supporting and maintaining diamond drill rigs. This role is suited to a motivated tradesperson with strong hydraulic and pneumatic experience who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Maintenance, servicing, and repair of diamond drill rigs Fault finding and diagnostics on hydraulic and pneumatic systems Rebuilding and repairing hydraulic components (pumps, motors, cylinders, valves) Maintenance of compressors, air systems, and related pneumatics Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance Breakdown repairs in workshop and occasional field support Accurate completion of service records and maintenance reports Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety and compliance standards Assist with continuous improvement of maintenance procedures Skills & Experience Trade qualified Drill Fitter / Mechanical Fitter Proven experience working on diamond drilling equipment Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems (essential) Solid experience with pneumatics and air systems Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently Experience working in mining or exploration environments (preferred) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong commitment to workplace safety Qualifications & Requirements Relevant trade qualification Current Australian driver’s licence High Risk Work Licence (advantageous) Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
