Role Description
Infosys is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud and DevOps Infrastructure Engineer with expertise across multi‐cloud platforms, automation, and modern infrastructure practices. The role requires deep operational knowledge of Microsoft Azure and additional experience with GCP, GCVE, and AWS environments. The successful candidate will have strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and ARM templates and will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Bamboo.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable, resilient, and portable application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Automate configuration, patching, and deployment across environments using Ansible and Red Hat Satellite.
- Manage version control with Git, implementing branching strategies, code reviews, and collaborative workflows.
- Develop and maintain scripting and automation solutions in PowerShell, Bash, and Python to improve operational efficiency.
- Implement and manage monitoring and observability solutions with Splunk, Nagios, and cloud‐native monitoring platforms.
- Ensure security and compliance by applying cloud and network security best practices, vulnerability management, policy‐as‐code, and compliance frameworks such as APRA and CIS benchmarks.
- Configure and maintain networking components including VPNs, ExpressRoute, virtual networks, subnetting, DNS, NSGs, UDRs, ASGs, firewalls, and load‐balancing technologies.
- Administer operating systems such as Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and other Linux distributions; manage virtualization technologies like VMware, Citrix, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Design cloud‐native and serverless architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) for scalable and efficient solutions.
- Apply Agile, GitOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Lead incident and problem management, performing structured incident response, root cause analysis, and proactive remediation.
- Collaborate across cross‐functional teams and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 15+ years of relevant experience.
- Relevant industry certifications across Azure, GCP, AWS, Kubernetes or related domains.
