About the Opportunity
William Clarke College is seeking a suitably qualified and dynamic English Teacher to join our friendly and professional academic staff team. Reporting to the Head of English, you will be responsible for engaging with students to deliver quality teaching and learning experiences that speak to the core values of the College. In addition, you will actively engage with and deliver the College's teaching and learning frameworks.
This is ideally a temporary full-time position, however the College is keen to discuss flexible employment opportunities with top candidates.
About You
1. Ability to teach Stage 4, 5 and 6 English (experience at Stage 6 level, while not necessary, will be highly regarded)
2. Appropriate teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation
3. Demonstrated excellence as a classroom teacher
4. Collegiate and a good team player
5. Actively support the College's Christian ethos
6. The successful candidate will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check in accordance with Child Protection legislation
7. Regular practicing member of a Christian church
