Job Summary:
As our new
Application Sales Specialist
, you will be responsible for driving annual sales volumes of Application Equipment products across dealers and regions, aligning with budget targets and AGCO's strategic goals. This role serves as the key liaison between AGCO, its dealer network, and customers, ensuring effective coordination of sales and marketing initiatives. It involves analyzing market intelligence, enhancing dealer performance through strategic planning and training, and maintaining high levels of dealer satisfaction. The Account Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met and supports dealers in building profitable, sustainable business models.
Your Impact
Build Strong Dealer Relationships: Maintain consistent communication and regular visits with dealer partners, ensuring each interaction is documented and reported for optimal collaboration and support.
Drive Regional Success: Lead the creation and coordination of quarterly Regional Action Plans, setting clear goals and strategies for sales and marketing activities that align with budget and resource expectations.
Achieve Sales Excellence: Proactively manage sales forecasts and inventory, striving to exceed sales targets and market share while ensuring accurate order management and optimal stock placement throughout the region.
Empower Through Training and Support: Provide technical advice and oversee product and sales system training for dealer partners, equipping teams with the knowledge and skills needed for continued growth and customer satisfaction.
Play a key role in developing our distribution network by ensuring all regional distribution points meet dealer partner standards, implementing action plans as needed, and administering our dealer partner assessment and review programs.
Your Experience and Qualifications
Demonstrated success in sales and marketing within the agricultural industry.
Experience collaborating with multiple franchise dealer partner channels.
Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
Willingness to travel and spend an average of three nights per week away from home.
KPI:
In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for driving dealer partner success by generating, maintaining, and reviewing sales forecasts to meet or exceed targets and margins. You'll develop and coordinate strategic Sales Plans while monitoring competitive pricing to keep our offerings ahead of the curve. Your commitment to providing exceptional support ensures AGCO's dealer partners are fully equipped for success, including coordinating and implementing targeted training to foster best-in-class product knowledge.
