The successful candidate will join the Statewide Mental Health Services team at Burnie, delivering improved outcomes for individuals with mental illness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical expertise and guidance to staff managing patients with mental health concerns.
* Collaborate with the Mental Health Consultation Liaison team and community service providers to achieve better results.
Requirements:
* High level skills, knowledge and clinical expertise in Mental Health nursing in the acute setting, preferably five years post graduate clinical nursing experience.
* Advanced written and oral communication, liaison, interpersonal and counselling skills within a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and documentation, including the Mental Health Act and departmental policies and procedures.
Employment Details:
Permanent full time position, 76 hours per fortnight.
Remuneration:
$106,570 to $112,440 annually.

Eligibility:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration and Driver's Licence. Desirable qualifications include relevant tertiary qualifications.
