Welcome to Eden Academy Thornlands. We are a child safe organisation, committed to the safety, wellbeing and empowerment of all children.
Operating from 6:30am - 6:30pm we offer a nurturing setting with natural play spaces, open plan rooms filled with natural light, and abundant age-appropriate resources. With both indoor and outdoor play areas, we create the perfect setting for our children to explore, grow, and thrive.
Responsibilities
* In your role as an Educator:
o You will nurture little learners through playful learning and meaningful connection
o Create engaging environments that spark curiosity and wonder
o Show up with kindness, creativity, and a can-do spirit every day
o Communicate with confidence and build lasting bonds with families
o Bring positive energy and a team-first attitude to every room
What You'll Bring
* A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or an ACECQA-recognised equivalent)
* A current Working with Children Check
* Full Australian working rights
* A warm, skilled presence and a genuine passion for early learning
* Confidence connecting with children, families, and the community
* Available to work Monday to Friday across a range of shift patterns, with flexibility to be on call at short notice to cover unexpected leave
* Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or supervisor in a childcare or education setting
