Procurement Leadership Role
Our organisation seeks experienced Senior Procurement Officers to contribute to the delivery of key programs through effective procurement support.
As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your expertise will shape procurement practices across the organisation.
* Develop and review market approaches and procurement documentation for major programs in collaboration with project managers.
* Support the rollout of the TechnologyOne Finance System Sourcing Module to enhance procurement processes and improve operational efficiency.
* Provide guidance on conducting procurements in line with the Commonwealth Procurement Framework, ensuring compliance and best practice.
* Act as the first point of contact for the TechnologyOne contracts module, assisting staff with contract entry and maintenance, and providing technical support.
* Monitor and report on procurement and contract activities, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to process enhancements.
* Prepare and publish contract notices on AusTender, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely reporting to meet regulatory requirements.
* Extract and analyse procurement data to support internal reporting, budgeting, and parliamentary reporting, providing insights to inform business decisions.
* Stay informed of changes to procurement frameworks and apply this knowledge to support business needs, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
* Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Procurement on complex issues and contribute to ongoing process improvements, sharing expertise and best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will require a solid understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Framework, experience with procurement systems, strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, a proactive approach, and ability to manage competing priorities.
