Title: Datacenter Technician

Description:
As a Data Center Technician, you perform core data center operations and deployment tasks on one or more functions (e.g., maintenance, projects, networking, media security), with regular guidance.
You perform troubleshooting and problem identification to address day-to-day issues by following existing protocols and well-defined documented activities, escalating non-standard challenges when required.
To pair with solid component awareness, you are beginning to develop knowledge of operations, processes, and procedures, and the ability to monitor potential data security issues. Responsibilities include:
Support tracking and analysis for trends of operational characteristics in process or workflow performance and identify opportunities to improve operational procedures with direct guidance (e.g., manage utilization and eliminate non-productive activities).
Maintain the security and integrity of data, track various forms of media to check for standard data security issues (e.g., data was not properly erased) handled in accordance with our security standards.
Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment, servers, machines, infrastructure, automation, and robotics based on identified issues with defined solutions and limited guidance.
Report issues and follow data center procedures to troubleshoot and diagnose straightforward issues with equipment or infrastructure as they arise, and apply the resources needed to resolve identified issues.
Disassemble specific equipment that has reached its end-of-life via part replacement or maintenance, in a team setting.
Communicate with software and hardware engineers to help identify and investigate problems.
Execute intermediate operational procedures as part of daily work activities and follow security policies and processes, with guidance.
Deploy and operate new data center infrastructure across projects or tasks (e.g. Machine Learning platforms, network architecture).
Contribute to the implementation of clearly defined compliance programs and initiatives in collaboration within your own team, to help ensure that environmental and safety incidents are properly investigated, resolved, and reported.
Minimum role qualification requires proficiency in:
