We're looking for a dedicated Senior Cellar Hand to join our busy, hands‑on team based at Jindong. This is a full‑time, permanent role (no vintage work) offering stable weekday hours and the chance to work closely with premium local wines as they're prepared for bottling. We're after someone local who's ready to commit long‑term and grow with us.
About the Role
As our Senior Cellar Hand, you'll play a key role in the day‑to‑day running of our cellar operations. You'll lead and support our cellar team, coordinate workflow, and ensure all cellar activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
This position suits a motivated individual with prior cellar experience who enjoys variety, teamwork, and taking ownership of their work.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely unload premium wines from tankers into the cellar;
* Work with the laboratory team to obtain bottling approval;
* Carry out bulk wine transfers, cellar additions, and related tasks to maintain wine integrity and readiness;
* Maintain cellar hygiene and equipment to meet quality control standards;
* Accurately complete and maintain records in line with quality system requirements;
* Operations in line with HACCP and quality certifications.
