Job Description
The Construction Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
This role involves managing a team of staff and subcontractors, as well as coordinating with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure that projects meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct onsite supervision of staff and subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
* Safety management: Identify potential hazards, implement measures to mitigate risks, and verify compliance with safety legislation.
* Project direction: Supervise and oversee project execution to ensure client specifications and requirements are met.
* Client liaison: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
* Talent management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records and reports, including site logs and project progress updates.
