About the Role

Join Far East Consortium as a Payroll Officer and support the smooth, accurate, and compliant processing of payroll across multiple business units. This part-time role (3 days per week) offers flexibility to work from home or from the office, reporting to the National Payroll Manager to deliver a seamless payroll experience for our team.

Key responsibilities:

* Process end-to-end payroll on a fortnightly and weekly basis
* Maintain and update employee payroll records (new hires, terminations, pay changes, leave)
* Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, including PAYG, superannuation, and payroll tax
* Respond to employee payroll queries professionally and promptly
* Support Single Touch Payroll (STP) submissions and end-of-year processing
* Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting
* Contribute to process improvements and maintain confidentiality at all times
* Provide support with other ad hoc payroll and administrative tasks as required

About the You

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a payroll role, ideally across multiple entities or sites
* Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, including the Fair Work Act, NES, and superannuation
* Proficiency in payroll systems and HRIS platforms (Employment Hero experience an advantage)
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
