Overview Lawyer/Associate - Aged Care Law role at Russell Kennedy in Melbourne.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Lawyer or Associate to join our Public Law and Regulatory Compliance team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Providing legal advice and representation to aged care providers, as well as the peak body and providers of services to the aged care industry.
Advice concerning regulatory compliance with the Commonwealth Aged Care Law scheme.
Representation in litigation matters including coronial inquests, VCAT proceedings and court proceedings.
Drafting regulatory compliance templates.
Involvement in the mentoring of both junior lawyers and law graduates, fostering their professional development and growth within our team.
Contributing to business development and marketing activities, including attending networking events, presentations and writing articles.
Skills/Knowledge Experience working in the health, aged care and / or disability law areas would be highly regarded, though not essential.
Sound legal analysis and drafting skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Clear and effective communication skills, including the ability to explain legal concepts in a practical, client-friendly way.
Demonstrated initiative and a growing ability to think critically and contribute to problem-solving.
