Overview
We currently have an immediate need for a Territory Sales Manager for Perth, Australia. This leadership role is accountable for sales and profitability of Aviat Networks Oceania region, focusing on adoption of Aviat products, solutions, and services within key market segments including Telco/mobile operators, enterprise, and private networks. Aviat Networks is the world’s largest independent supplier of wireless transmission systems, recognized worldwide for 5G, backhaul, networking solutions and services. Customers in more than 135 countries depend on Aviat Networks to build, expand, and upgrade voice, data, and video solutions. Responsibilities
Drive revenue and profitability for the defined territory Embrace a market-backed value selling approach Independently manage the full sales cycle from prospect identification through close Provide regular reporting of performance and activities Represent Aviat at exhibitions, tradeshows, and events Support regional line management and functions in achieving financial and business objectives Revenue & Profitability
Meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets for the territory Hunt for new business Provide accurate sales forecasts monthly/quarterly/annually using Salesforce or spreadsheets Maintain profit margins in line with corporate directives Develop an overall business and account plan leading to a coordinated team selling effort in assigned accounts; conduct regular plan reviews Directly manage Telco/mobile operators, enterprise, private networks, and channel accounts Establish a strong channels network to expand Aviat’s business in the territory Initiate programs to engage top channel partners to motivate growth Qualifications and Experience
Experience Proven track record in sales management with success selling services/solutions 5+ years of relevant sales experience Excellent written and spoken communication; able to articulate thoughts clearly Ability to interact at all levels within customer and partner organizations Familiar with the sales cycle including booking and revenue forecasting Strong selling, negotiating, and presentation skills; consistent quota attainment Technology background is required Skills Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) Ability to compose business correspondence and express ideas clearly Interpersonal and teamwork capabilities Technical and analytical skills; business acumen Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Disciplined, organized, and hardworking Proficient in MS Office Working Conditions and Environment
