Apply now and join our team!In this role, your responsibilities will include:Leading risk management activities, including conducting risk assessments, hazard identification, training, consultation, observations, and communication.Maintaining and updating work instructions and JHAs for all workshop activities in accordance with federal and state WHS laws.Performing internal audits of the HSE system and facilitating external audits as needed.Coordinating and driving global safety initiatives, projects, and GHG reduction efforts.Ensuring safe work practices align with Emerson's safety procedures and legal requirements, and evaluating hazardous conditions.Implementing controls to improve worker safety and environmental health, conducting site inspections, and acting on findings.Reporting in line with Emerson's Scorecard, including training, safety observations, and TRR.Leading incident investigations, analyzing data, and recommending corrective actions.Leading HSE committee meetings and toolbox sessions to promote hazard awareness.Managing rehabilitation and return-to-work processes for onsite workers.Developing and delivering EHS training, maintaining policies, and ensuring legal compliance.Planning and executing safety tasks to meet business goals, maintaining training records, and conducting safety inductions.Incorporating HSE considerations into purchasing and control actions, maintaining SDS registers, and facilitating safety equipment procurement.Collaborating with other service and manufacturing centers globally using standardized methods.Developing a positive safety culture that encourages collaboration and zero harm.Who you are:You understand the needs of internal and external collaborators, manage relationships across functions, and work harmoniously to achieve shared objectives.Requirements for this role include:Experience in a safety role within manufacturing.Cert IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent HSE training experience, including Cert IV WHS.Knowledge of 5S+1, ISO 45001, 14001 standards, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE software.What we offer:Joining Emerson offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference.
