About the Position
This fixed-term 12-month role is for an Adult Community Psychiatrist at a prominent mental health facility.
The successful candidate will work within our Adult Community Teams on a full-time basis.
* Provide clinical leadership to one of our continuing care teams.
* Work flexibly across programs such as intake and access service and brief intervention team.
We seek a psychiatrist with relevant knowledge and experience, who can meet requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in psychiatry.
Please note that consideration will be given to applicants who can commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality patient care and develop treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychiatry from a recognized institution.
Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
Relevant postgraduate qualifications and/or experience in adult community psychiatry.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly.
