About the role:
The purpose of this role is to provide quality administrative services that support the operational programs and services, operating as part of the Corporate Support function.
These services include:
* Human Resources
* Quality and compliance
* Information Technology
* Communications and Marketing
The Human Resources (HR) Administration Office, reports to the Manager, HR, and works primarily within the HR team, but is expected to provide support across the Corporate Support Team.
Key responsibilities:
* Monitoring email inboxes, assist with preparation of new starter inductions, printing, scanning, uploading and saving documents to digital files, updating noticeboards, booking meetings, taking phone calls/delivering phone messages and other administrative tasks.
* Providing high quality customer service and projecting a positive organizational image by using a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.
* Working collaboratively with the Corporate Support team and providing quality clerical and administrative support.
* Maintaining accurate records and statistics, and providing data as required in a timely manner.
* Contributing to continuous improvement processes to ensure compliance with relevant standards and safe, effective service delivery.
* Undertaking projects in the area of administrative responsibility under the guidance of experts within the Corporate Support team.
* Participate in organizational and community activities to advance the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
* Work within Wuchopperen’s Policies and Procedures including the Staff Code of Conduct and the Work Health and Safety requirements, whilst maintaining the strictest confidence when dealing with confidential information.
* Other duties as required, within your skills, experience and capacity.
For applicants to be successful in this role, they should demonstrate:
* Experience in the provision of administrative support, the use of Microsoft Office, and general office duties.
* Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander societies and cultures from an historical and contemporary perspective, including the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
* Extensively developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liase with a range of stakeholders as well as effectively advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
* Demonstrated ability to meet and work within the core values and behaviours of Wuchopperen
Qualifications and experience:
Possession of a related qualifications is desirable or experience in a relevant discipline.
Requirements:
* Hold a current Blue Card (for suitability to work with children and young people).
* Proof of qualifications is required to be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
* Possess a current driver’s licence.
* A commitment to adhere to Wuchopperen’s policies and procedures.
