Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Cambridge on a hybrid working model. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Python, Terraform, and Ansible, along with a solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Network Engineers to deploy and manage infrastructure efficiently.
* Utilize automation tools such as Python, Terraform, and Ansible for configuration management and deployment.
* Develop knowledge transfer sessions and documentation to ensure a smooth handover to the internal team.
* Support the deployment and maintenance of infrastructure, ensuring best practices are followed.
* Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and networking issues as they arise.
* Implement and optimize workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
* Enhance network visibility and management using NetBox (if applicable).
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in Python, Terraform, and Ansible within a DevOps environment.
* Strong networking fundamentals to support the Network Engineering team.
* Hands-on experience with cloud and on-prem infrastructure automation.
* Ability to document processes and conduct knowledge transfer sessions effectively.
* Familiarity with NetBox for network automation and management.
